The Outstanding Beauty of Manly

Couple of days ago, the Royal Family of Prince William, Duchess of Cambridge Kate and their little prince George included Manly in their itinerary. It was a huge event in the Australian television, that they feature every move of this Royal Family. Sounds really absurd though, it's a waste of airtime I guess.

We had a 4 day weekend, and we decided to drive to Manly to get some fresh air, enjoying the sight of surfers brave their way through the waves and most specially, feeling the water rush to our feet. Indeed a breather from many months of working hard!

Here are our photos from our visit:

We're In Sydney

Me and my husband have been very busy working at the same time enjoying the time of our lives here in Sydney, adapting to the new lifestyle, meeting wonderful people from work and making our digits high. (lol)

4 months later, we discovered that we are having a baby! We were still on a state of denial until we saw our tiny little one screen. We saw it the first time during its 10 week, 5 day gestation, and it seemed like a little human being , with hands and legs finally in obvious formation.

I have to munch a healthy chocolate to keep my brain working.

It bothered us for quite sometime because obviously, we were not ready. Our student health insurance (Medibank) doesn't provide any refunds until the 12th month of stay in Sydney, so all expenses are from out of the pocket.

The expenses were a rip off, but we are happy definitely! I am on my 21st week and I can feel the baby kicking and jabbing.

I love how the baby kicks early morning, or sometimes it certainly doesn't put me to sleep at all. My womb is still far from being big like a watermelon but it sure does surprise people from work!

I will post more of our photos on this blog. I am guessing that this blog would be a 'mom blog' right after I'll give birth to our little one.

PS: I'll due on the first week of August. Everyday, I still can't believe I'm pregnant! I feel so light (although sometimes, due to standing up for a long time makes me tired) and the baby in me doesn't really give me a headache. :D

by: John Green

I have downloaded this like many months ago because I heard an amazing feedback from my friends.
I have started this yes, however, I just couldn't get back to reading this again as I am so wrapped up lately. Care to share about your review of this book please? Thanks

Tatra Mountains, Zakopane

Here are the pictures from our Zakopane 4 day vacation.

There is only one reason to go to Zakopane, that is to hike and witness the majestic and stunning vista. I must say that I have conquered my fear and my being lazy.

1st Day

On the way down, we took the ski lift cable t to see the full view of the Tatra Mountains.

2nd day and the highlight of our journey

We're taking the black mark, it was so tough and I almost gave up. I chose this road though because it's the fastest way to go down.

This view is breathtaking. Imagine a long hike and you see mother nature's magnificent work of art!

3rd Day

Hunger games!

4th Day

After a 3 day hike, there is no better way to freshen up but to pamper your exhausted, and drained body at Terma Bania! By the way, I celebrated my 25th Birthday here. I really had a great time.

If planning to go to Zakopane, I suggest if you could book your room in advance. Thousands of people from different countries of Europe are visiting the place, so If you don't want to sleep outdoors, book your "pokoj" earlier.

Bring proper gadgets/clothes/shoes for the appropriate weather, you can check the weather forecast too!

and please do HIKE!
